Creator is a separate account type, not a paid tier. Creators get a public profile at /creators/your-handle, can sell cookbooks, add example step photos, and earn payouts. Approval is by application, and creator features do not require Pro.

Questions families ask

What happens to my recipes if I stay on Free?
Nothing. Your recipes are yours forever. Free is capped at 1 cookbook and 20 recipes so you can try things out before upgrading.
Do sponsored family members see my billing?
No. You pay, they cook. They don't see the invoice.
What's the difference between AI and helper tools?
AI features (smart import, photo scan, recipe variations) use a model that costs us money per use. Helper tools (paste parser, unit conversion, term suggestions) are free heuristics with a monthly cap on Free.
How do I sell my own cookbook?
Creator sign-up is by application. See creators/apply to submit yours. Creator features do not require Pro.
